Made in the same phase as ‘Below The Sunlit Waters’ and ‘Don’t Try This at Home’, these sculptures were made by ‘inflating’ the forms. I started with flat sheet and used a car tyre inflator and a lot of heat. ‘Are We Sitting Comfortably?’ was unsettling to inflate, with a real worry of it rupturing violently.
