FOR SALE. Nickel plated reclaimed steel, concrete plinth.

7'4'' (2.24M) tall

Made in the same phase as ‘Are We Sitting Comfortably?’ and ‘Don’t Try This at Home’, these sculptures were made by ‘inflating’ the forms. I started with flat sheet and used a car tyre inflator and a lot of heat. ‘Below the Sunlit Waters’ had a very alarming habit of rupturing loudly several times whilst inflating which got my heart racing.
