This sculpture was created after briefly working on set for a theatre production. You can see the figurative influence. The surface finish and colouring was inspired by the chalk and flint cliffs near my studio at that time in Lewes, East Sussex. ‘Ethereal Mass’ now suns itself on a patron’s rooftop in Geneva, Switzerland.
